The price for a physical product falls within an acceptable range. No one is going to spend $10,000 for a toaster… unless it’s gold-plated with a Louie Vitton emblem.

Digital products are priced based on the value of the information, and who’s delivering it.

Third, digital products are easier to price.

When you start getting into tax collection, shipping tables, and other custom things with physical products… the simplicity you’re looking for goes right out the window.

How To Set Up A Digital Product Sales Funnel Quickly

Now it’s time to put on your work gloves, grab your tools, and put in some sweat equity.

For the sake of simplicity, using pre-made templates is where you should start.

Every worthwhile sales funnel builder will have a library of templates for you to choose from… so start with a template that works for you.

Templates usually are categorized by industry, but really any template will do. Every template is editable.

Here are the basic steps to launch your digital product sales funnel as fast as humanly possible:

  1. Create a new ‘funnel’ in your software, choose the right template for you, and drop it in.
  2. Add your logo and make any minor tweaks to things like font and colors… but keep the overall structure
  3. Focus the majority of your time on perfecting your Headline, Sub-Headline, and Call To Action. Use a tool like ChatGPT to help you or give you ideas.
  4. Write out the additional sections quickly, but relevant to your digital product
  5. Add your images, or find images on sites like Shutterstock… or even better, use an AI tool like MindJourney to create your images (like the main image on this article)
  6. Connect your product, your domain, your email CRM (like Active Campaign), and your payment processor (like Stripe)
  7. Test your funnel
  8. Go live and get your ‘relative’ to complete your first sale

This list may look like an ‘oh hell no’ moment, but it’s not… promise.

The simplest thing to do… which also happens to be the most effective thing to do… is split test your headlines.

A lot of tests have shown dialing in your headline will net the biggest impact on your results.

If you do nothing else but split-test your headlines, you’ll be way ahead of most other entrepreneurs.

But since you asked, you should also split-test your Call To Action text, images, and maybe colors. 

Anything beyond that is when you’re doing millions upon millions of dollars in revenue, where a 1% swing has huge implications.

You need to have enough data to make informed decisions. It might take hundreds, if not thousands of data points to declare a winner.

Let’s say you have an intro digital product for $17. Split-test it at $47 as well.

Do the same with your core offer and order bumps… and with your upsells.

The point is finding your sweet spot with your product offerings can literally mean thousands… tens of thousands… hundreds of thousands… even millions of dollars MORE to your bottom line.
