How To Add Akismet Spam Protection In DropFunnels

Adding a blog to your website is one of the best things you can do.
Unfortunately, dealing with spam is an issue when you start adding blog posts.
The solution is to add Akismet as a spam prevention tool, keeping those pesky spam bots from ruining your website.
Here is how to add Akismet spam protection to your WordPress blog.

Setting Up Your Akismet Spam Blocker
1. Login to DropFunnels, then go to Blog > Anti-Spam.
2. Click the blue button 'Set up your Akismet account'.
3. Choose the plan for you (Personal Plan is recommended).
4. You set your own price (defaults to $36/year). Hit 'Continue and pay' button.
5. Complete your payment and get your API key from Akismet. Go back to DropFunnels and hit the link 'Manually enter an API key'. Enter your API Key in the box below. Hit the blue button 'Connect with API key'.
6. Choose your Akismet settings. Our recommendations are displayed below. Save your changes.
That's it!
You have successfully set up your Akismet spam blocker.
Any new comments or spam attempts will automatically be stopped for your approval, or to send them to trash.
(NOTE: Your DropFunnels back office may be different than the images shown above, as DropFunnels will always look for ways to improve their product. Nevertheless, the steps should be the same... if not extremely similar.)
